Water Quality Assessment
Understand Your Water.
Optimise Every Point of Use.
Water quality affects far more than what your guests drink. It influences food preparation, coffee and beverage consistency, warewashing performance, kitchen hygiene and the longevity of water-connected equipment.
AYR Water assesses incoming water quality and the critical points of use across hospitality and professional workplaces to determine where treatment is needed—and what treatment is appropriate.

One Water Source. Different Operational Requirements.
The same incoming water may serve multiple applications, but those applications do not necessarily require the same water characteristics. A professional water assessment therefore starts before the filtration system.
Laboratory analysis provides the baseline for identifying relevant microbiological, physical, chemical and mineral conditions. Treatment can then be designed around the actual requirements of each point of use (where the water is used).
Four key applications
Water Where It Matters Most
Drinking Water
Reliable microbiological control, appropriate filtration and balanced water characteristics for still, chilled and sparkling drinking-water service.
Cooking & Food Preparation
Water used directly in preparation and cooking is assessed for the characteristics relevant to kitchen hygiene, food contact and consistent preparation.
Coffee & Beverage Equipment
Hardness, alkalinity and mineral composition are considered to help protect boilers and internal components while supporting consistent beverage quality.
Warewashing
Water characteristics are assessed to help manage scale, deposits and spotting while supporting washing performance and equipment protection.
Our approach
From Analysis to Application
Understand the Operation
Identify water sources, existing treatment and critical points of use.
Analyse Incoming Water
Establish relevant microbiological, physical, chemical and mineral parameters.
Define Requirements
Compare results with the operational needs of each point of use.
Design Treatment
Select appropriate treatment based on laboratory findings and purpose.
Recommend & Implement
Translate findings into practical priorities, configuration and implementation scope.
Analyse first. Treat according to purpose. Verify the result.
Depending on the findings and application, treatment may include microbiological barriers such as UV, particulate and carbon filtration, scale management, membrane treatment, reverse osmosis, mineral adjustment or other appropriate technologies. The objective is not to add unnecessary treatment. It is to apply the right treatment, at the right point, for the right purpose.
Beyond drinking water
A More Complete Approach to Water in Hospitality
A drinking-water system should not be considered independently from the water entering the operation. Understanding incoming water quality can reveal conditions affecting several areas of the kitchen and F&B environment.
Safe and consistent drinking water
Water treatment designed around the intended consumption point.
Food & beverage preparation
Better-informed water quality management where water enters preparation processes.
Coffee & beverage consistency
Application-specific mineral management for quality and equipment protection.
Warewashing performance
Management of hardness, scale, deposits and spotting where appropriate.
Equipment longevity
Reduced exposure to avoidable mineral accumulation and unsuitable water conditions.
Operational hygiene
A structured understanding of water quality around critical hospitality points of use.
AYR Water expertise
Point-of-Use Water Quality for Hospitality & Professional Workspaces
AYR Water specialises in optimising water quality at and around the points of use that directly affect hospitality and workplace consumption.
Our role is not to apply one filtration solution everywhere. We combine source-water analysis, application requirements and appropriate treatment technologies to determine how water should be managed where it matters to guests, staff, food and beverage operations and connected equipment.
